Tina Perica joined the Department of Biochemistry as Assistant Professor with tenure track on July 1st, 2021.
Her research strives to understand the general principles of how biochemical properties of proteins encode their systems level functions in signal transduction and gene regulation. Her team uses protein biochemistry and biophysics in combination with functional genomics and computational biology.
Tina Perica studied Molecular Biology at University of Zagreb, Croatia. In 2013 she received her PhD from Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, University of Cambridge, UK, where she worked with Prof. Teichmann. She did her postdoctoral training as a Sir Henry Wellcome Fellow at University of California, San Francisco with Prof. Tanja Kortemme.
