The junior scientists of the Department of Biochemistry are given the opportunity to give a talk on their own ongoing research in our Progress Report seminar series. "Progress Reports" are presented in English. The lecture series is hosted by the Department of Biochemistry.
The title of the seminar and an abstract of your talk in word format has to be sent by e-mail at least 10 days in advance, so that it can be published on our website.
This seminar series corresponds to the lecture "Progress Reports" (BCH403).
The seminar takes place regularly on Thursdays at 4pm in room 44H05.
Research seminars take place regularly on every second Thursday of the month all year round at 4pm in room 44H05. This seminar series corresponds to lecture BCH 405. Additional ad hoc invitations are also possible.
"Current Research Issues in Biochemistry" are presented in English by various speakers. The lecture series is hosted by the Department of Biochemistry.
Thesis defense talks are held by Ph.D. candidates after having submitted their thesis. The talk is public, given in English and will last about 45 minutes. It is followed by an oral exam in the presence of the 3 examiners and the candidate alone. The audience is thus asked to leave the lecture hall after the talk.
